MedPrax handles your health information under HIPAA. We do not sell your data, and we limit access to the licensed physicians and clinic staff treating you.
Terms of service
By using MedPrax you agree that we are a software platform connecting patients with independently licensed physicians. We are not a healthcare provider.
HIPAA notice of privacy practices
Each prescribing physician on MedPrax operates their own covered entity and issues their own Notice of Privacy Practices to their patients. MedPrax acts as a business associate to those physicians and signs a BAA with each one. Your prescriber's notice will be presented to you during your first consult with them.
Business Associate Agreement
MedPrax signs a Business Associate Agreement with each prescribing physician's covered entity at onboarding. The BAA governs how PHI flows through the platform, our breach-notification obligations, and the data-return process if a physician offboards. A copy is provided to physicians during onboarding and on request.
